John Charles Attwood  is  listed on the Hawarden County School Register.  He entered the school on the 17th September 1901. His date of birth was noted as the 17th March 1889.  The address given was  21, Oak Tree Terrace, Shotton.  His Father’s occupation was a Sheet Iron Shearer.  He had previously attended  Connah’s Quay Board School.  He left Hawarden County School at Easter 1902.
