No details of Soldier known.

It has not yet proved possible to identify this soldier. If anyone knows who E Oldfield on the Connah’s Quay/Shotton Memorial is, please get in touch via the Contacts Page on this website. We would be very grateful for any help at all.

There is an F. Oldfield on the Hawarden War Memorial, are they connected in any way?   He is also a mystery.

There was no Flintshire WW1 Index Card for him, neither “Living”, nor “Fallen”, which may have given more details.

Cannot find him on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission either, without any more information.
