Isaac Williams was born in Greenfield, Flintshire during the year 1890.
The 1911 Census tells us that the family lived at 1 Green Bank, Greenfield, Flintshire. The head of the family was William Williams, aged 57, a Gardener. His wife Mary Ann Williams aged 58 and their 10 (ten) children, namely, Emma Williams aged 38, an Assistant Housekeeper, John Henry Williams aged 36, a Porter, Mary Jane Williams aged 34, an Assistant Housekeeper, William Williams aged 30, a Farm Labourer, Margaret Williams aged 24, Llewellyn Williams aged 22, a Boiler Stoker at the Greenfield Rubber Works, Isaac Williams aged 21, a General Labourer, Robert Williams aged 20, a Labourer, Alice Williams aged 18, a Weaver at the Welsh Flannel Mill and Sarah Williams aged 14, a Schoolgirl.
He is also remembered on The North Wales Heroes Memorial Arch, Deiniol Road, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales.
