Jones. Frank

Frank Jones was born in Holywell, Flintshire during 1897.

The 1901 Census states that the family lived at Britannia House, Bagillt.   The head of the family was John S Jones aged 40, who was employed as a Cooper at the Bagillt Lead Works.   His wife Margaret Jones aged 39 and their 4 (four) children – Herbert Jones aged 18, a Colliery Labourer, Rosina Jones aged 15, Gwladys Jones aged 6 and Frank Jones aged 4.

His Medal Index Card states next of kin as Mrs R Jones. 1371 Charles Street, Box 892, North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Frank Jones is also remembered on the North Wales Heroes Memorial Arch, Deiniol Road, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales.
