This week, four members of the project attended a two day course in Stockport where Mike Little introduced us to many of the wonders of WordPress which is the open source software that we use to create localhost/flintshirewarmemorials_test . Mike is the co- deviser of WordPress which is used the world over and carries more than 20% of the internet’s content.

We came away with our heads reeling at the possibilities for our website. Mike pointed us to various ‘plug -ins’ and ‘widgets’ that we might find useful and we’ve already started to add some new features to the site as a result of the course, including this News post.
It was a great privilege to learn from the Master. We left Stockport with much to think about and some big decisions to make about future developments. Watch this space.
