Ted was born in 1885 and his parents were Elizabeth and John Edwards. The address given on his Flintshire Roll of Honour card was Llettyr Eos, Hendre. It also says on the card that he was ‘missing’ from 16th August until October when he was deemed to have died on 16th August 1916.

His Commonwealth War Grave Certificate says he was the son of Elizabeth Edwards of 6 Mill Terrace, Hendre and the late John Edwards
