Mold War Memorial

The War Memorial bearing all the names is situated at ‘the top of town’ outside the entrance to Bailey Hill. Inside Mold Parish Chuch (St Mary’s) the fittings inside the NE chapel and the organ cases were also added as War Memorials after WW1.

We have conducted an initial research on all the First World War named servicemen  by finding what we could in official sources that are in the public domain. There are a few men that we have so far drawn a blank on and have found nothing at all about them. Can you help?

If you have a relative from World War 1 named on this memorial then we are very keen to hear from you. Have you got any more information? Do you have any memorabilia about him that you would like to have posted on the website? Please get in touch with us on our Contact Page

This is the WW1 memorial inside Bethesda Chapel in Mold. Almost all those named are also listed on the town’s memorial. (Thanks to ‘Wales Memorials’ based at Swansea University) for this photograph)
