It has proved impossible so far to identify this  serviceman.

There is an R.Jones on the Connah’s Quay & Shotton Cenotaph and also a Jones, R. mentioned on the St. Ethelwolds Church Roll of Honour but we have no evidence yet to connect these men (or man).

Any help would be gratefully received.
