Jones,  J

This soldier has been impossible to trace so far. His name, J. Jones is all there is to work on and there is no index card for him filed with the Hawarden cards in the Flintshire Roll of Honour at The County Record Office in Hawarden.

There is a possibility that this soldier is named on Flint Memorial but difficult to prove.

There is a Plaque in Wepre Presbyterian Church :- Pte. J. Jones, who fell on 21st August 1915 and who was named in the County Herald 9th September 1919 where he may also be remembered and this was unveiled in 1919 (This has now been demolished!).

We need help with this soldier.

Any help would be appreciated. Please get in touch via the Contact Page on the website.
