This wonderful Book of Remembrance is in The Flintshire County Record Office in Hawarden.  It was commissioned by the local War Working Party in Hanmer which purchased the book from the balance in their funds.  All the photographs in it were displayed in the porch of the church during the war, (which is probably why some of them are quite badly damaged).  Miss Daisy Jones  illuminated each page beautifully. There is a page for each man that served.

Many thanks to Flintshire County Record Office for permission to reproduce a selection of pages from this treasure of a book.

If anyone else wishes to copy any of the images from this book, please seek permission from the Record Office in Hawarden.
