This is our group on out recent trip to France and Belgium with Jones Motors to visit some of the battlefields and cemeteries of WW1.

Here we are at Mametz Wood, France where Lance Corporal Henry Bellis of Flint Mountain was killed and temporarily buried in July 1916. Sadly after the war they couldn’t locate his grave so his remains are still in there somewhere. He is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
