His Flintshire Roll of Honour Card gives Poplars Row the address and it is signed Maria Hughes. Family member Lisa Powell has informed us that Robert William Price Hughes had a sister Catherine who married James Wood who also died in the war and has his own page on this website. We note that the news cutting below says that Robert William was known as ‘Jerry’.

He enlisted in Wrexham. (UK soldiers who died in the Great war 1914 -19).
