Biographical Details Known The 1911 census tells us that he was born in 1883 in Gwernymynydd. He was a 28 year old single man who worked as a shop assistant in a grocers'. He lived in Blackbrook Cottage with his widowed mother, Margaret, his 18 year old sister Gwladys - a dressmaker's assistant, his 16 year old brother Peter Idris a coal miner and Idris an 8 year old nephew.
