Biographical Details Known The 1911 census places this family at Tawelfryn, Mold. The father,  David Evans Jones 44 was a book keeper in the drapery trade. He had been born in Gwernymynydd. His wife was Catherine 44 born in Llanferres and their children were Robert Parry 18 a grocer's apprentice, Thomas Parry 15 a junior clerk working for an auctioneer,  The girls- Mary Elizabeth 13, Gwendoline Parry 10 and Francis Jane 7 were all at school.

Dave Norton, a Flintshire resident serving in the RAF, visited Belgium on a battle sites tour in December 2010. Dave kindly tracked down the cemeteries and graves of a number of 'our' soldiers and photographed them. He visited Essex Farm Cemetery where Thomas Parry Jones is buried
