Biographical Details Known The 1911 census records that his family lived at Crossgates, Leeds. Seven of the nine children had left home and Edmund who was 25 and a clerk lived with his parents- his father Charles 66 a retired coal hewer, his mother Elizabeth 65 and his sister Mary 24.
Edmund married possibly in 1911 and his wife was Edith May Clough nee Banks.
The Commonwealth War Grave Commission names Edith on his War Grave Commission Certificate. It states that she lived in 6 Conway St Mold. The certificate also names his parents in Leeds.
